Gosh gosh, we know summer is here, but what .............. have Jo and
Lou lost their marbles! Lou with a drink in hand, just swinging that
hula hoop fast as those little hips will move! Jo, just a
bouncing!
Truth be known they are just trying hard to get into shope!
Hahns babies are hatching fast and furious, six so far, more to come!
This next door here is the first born of Guiseppe and Belladonna.
Where they were not such good parents last year, we did not know what to
expect, so Jo pulled the first born when the others were hatching on a
daily basis! As it turns out, they are proving to be excellent
parents so far and really taking of their youngs. Even Bonita and
Peppe who have their second born (Jo has first one as well) are proving
to be excellent first time parents. Four of these plump chums are
spoken for,but there will still be some looking for wonderful homes.
Stay tuned as there will be loads and loads of pictures coming soon.
Louis figures he's gonna need that drink to handle the crys and Jo gotta
be able to bounce up and down the stairs non stop.
Jo just loves their little crys and development of the lungs.
You can hear it all over the house. She figures she's gonna have
Arbie and Muffin saying "the babies cryin" soon! Whenever she
hears the crys she looks and tells them the baby is crying. Their
heads go around with the ears up! Talk, these two probably could
not give an african a run for their money but holy man they talk, non
stop, and in full sentences. 8 o'clock at night after the both of
them, especially Arbie has said Nite, Nite, time for bed a dozen times,
he starts with "Arbie ready to go to bed now"!! Too funny!
Move, get out of the way he says, when Jo wants to change their fresh
food dish. He just added the "move" to the phase yesterday.
Jo's up at 6 in the morning. She does not uncover them until she
turns everyone's lights on. This time of the morning is when she
hears all his new phases and words, as they practise under the cover.
Muffin is getting to be every bit the talker Arbie is. Jo used to
be able to tell from a different room, who was talking, not anymore.
We have such a funny movie of Arbie laying on his back in his food dish,
(his favorite position, on his back), but we need to figure out how to
change the format. Jo's Mother and Father in law were over with other
family members to celebrate their 58 wedding anniversary. That is
our youngest grandson, Ethan, on their lap. That's another
going concern. Just a step away from walking.
How about Mr. Murphy on his new boing having a "stare" off with Mr.
Happy Face from Healthy Bird. Oh and if you ever see the picture of
the next two with the bird here, on the back of a van window, PLEASE do
not laugh. You would hurt their feelings. That would be Jo
or Lou driving that van! We did make Lou put some pants on though
(and his teeth in)!!! So folks there will be no shortage of pictures
this month! We have a lovebird below here trying to jump ship and
crawl in with Bonita's clutch of hahns! Guess she figures it might
be a little cosier there!

Belladonna's clutch of four napping above. Until she heard my
voice! The little one below hears my voice and like lightening her
head is up, the wings are flapping, the voice is crying, you'd swear she
was deprived of food!! Just too funny.

O.K. now tell me, can any of you guess the odd man out in these
pictures?!

We were washing their bellies and wrapping them up, as to not catch a
chill, while they were out of the brooder. They all snuggled in so
cute and cozy, we have left them to have a cozy nap! (under
supervision of course!) |

This picture was just too cute not to share. One of our friends
youngest little boys. While these folks do have birds, we have to
confess, the hahns on his shoulder was computer generated!

Pretty bad huh, one pure white lovebird in amongst 7 hahns babies!
She is proud as punch and thinks she owns the brooder! They might
be bigger than she is already, but sure as heck don't bother her none!
She tucks right in with them at night. Pretty funny to see this
"white" lovebird all tucked in between them snoozing away!
